7/21 Anamorphosis

That is me this afternoon. What a dork.
I hope that give you an indication of the dorkiness I am about to impose on you.


oh, happiness.
I went to my first VK concert in Japan! *runs around*

okay. So, I got to Nihon Seinenkan about 15 before doors open so i just sat around gawking at pretty people and looking scared. I am a subtle one.
The people started going in, and it seemed to be just everyone so i got in line and briefly talked to some girls from london who were behind me cuz i was scared and wanted to make sure i was doing the right thing.

Anyway. I got inside and walk to me seat. First think I notice: the fake smoke. oh shit, i have a wicked headache within 10 seconds. I HATE that stuff and I always forget how painful it is to go to concerts.
Second: it's smaller that I though. So even though my seats are in the last rom of the first floor, I can still see really well. Yay.

um yeah. . .So anyway first was RICE. Before they even came on, I nearly exploded cuz the intro music was that awesome instrumental thing that I am obsessed with. Anyway: Yuki. he's a lot smaller than I thought. And. . .He struts around on stage like a 15 year pop star. It made me so in love with him. seriously. And he is very pretty, which I knew. but the headbanging. That was funny. and um. . .yes, I liked it a lot, even though i didn't recognize the 2 songs they played because I don't know very many of their songs. but oh, I will now.

then was 12012. okay, I must admit I have never really liked 12012 much. :/ but, I liked them tonight, so maybe I will give them another chance.

MASK was the first band I started getting into. i mean, doing the dances and stuff. Which is suprising because for the first 2 songs, all i could thing was "ugh, I used to kinda like mask, but. . .", "Damn that vocalist is tiny! I love his jacket!" and "Michiru you are such a chipmunk-faced ho". But, then they played "Sekirara Neurosis" which is my favorite of their songs, so I was very happy. So then I started doing all the dances. ^^ Most of the audience seemed to really like them :/

PHANTASMAGORIA. okay I love phantatsmagoria. at first because I like kisaki so i ordered their first single on a whim. But I continued to love them because I LOVE Riku. And let's face it, Kisaki is just a huge goofy dork anyway. um. . .They were wearing costumes I hadn't seen before, but that could have been me not paying attention. And um, was kisaki wearing one of Kamijo's costumes? or was that my imagination?
Anyway, they played Pixy False (XD) something that could have been Material Pain but i can't remember, and then Kami Uta. ah happiness. I think I do want to see them again. I should have gone to the two-man with rentrer. damn.

LAREINE. I actually don't have much to say about lareine. it was very. . .lareine-like O_O. Kamijo talked a lot, but I have no idea what he said besides lots of "Bonjour Honey!" Patially may have been because I was distracted by the strangeness of his crotch in those pants :/ ooh! but my favorite part was when Kamijo through his arms open at one point and knocked over a prop. He just got this huge grin on his face. It was awesome.
After they played about 3 songs I think, they bowed and such. And then someone came out with a bouquet of flowers. At first I thought it was Riku, but then realized it was too gangly and awkward so it had to be Kisaki. He presented them and then Kamijo gave him a kiss on the cheek which was very cute but made him more awkward and then he left. :p

then the most squeetastic moment of my evening.
kanoma kanoma kanoma.
Okay, so let me just say that the reason I decided i absolutely HAD to go to this live was because of Kanoma. I could have seen Lareine a bunch of different times, and yeah, i did want to see Rice but probably wouldn't have gone to a oneman, but the real reason is Kanoma. because I didn't get to go Fatima's last live and I have wanted to see him for as long as I've liked VK.

Anyway, Kamijo came back out soon after lariene's set with a guitar and talked a bit. Then he 1 by one introduced the "special unit". Michiru and Rame were wearing Emiru dresses (the one Rame was wearing is my favorite dress of his!) and then. . .Kanoma. I think I could have died on the spot. He was wearing Kamijo white and gold. and. . .oh man him and Kamijo on the same stage. . . I can tell this has completely dengrated into emphatic adjectives, but Damn!
so Kanoma sang one song and both he and Kamijo were talking a lot. And then they invited a bunch of the members from the previous bands on, and Kamijo gave Maya the guitar so he and Kanaoma were *both* singing. And it was lots of fun, all wondering about the stage interacting with everyone, Kamijo trying to look up Michiru's skirt. All very amusing. And then it was over and I was sad.

But not really cuz it was awesome.

oh. and when Kanoma was walking off stage (he was the last to leave) he threw his towel, but it didn't make it into the audience. He just smiled and gave THE CUTEST SHRUG EVER! and struted the rest of the way off stage. I died a little.

I need to go to concerts EVERY day.

oh and there was a comment DVD by all the bands which may have been cool if i understood a word of it. Although, i suppose it is amusing enough just for Yuki because he is crazy.
